Edublox Improves Concentration, Reading, Spelling and Handwriting

When I first realised that Kufanele’s reading is below standard, I was devastated. I did not know how I would be able to assist my child and help to attain good marks at school. I started searching the web and came across Edublox. I was very glad to see that there is a branch here in Witbank and contacted them immediately. Now, a year later, I am grateful that I made the right decision for my child!

After the assessment it was confirmed that Kufanele’s reading and spelling were below standard, but the team at Edublox Witbank assured me that they can help. His first lesson was in March 2016 and he attended classes twice a week. His first report for Grade 3 was not good as he failed both his language subjects and the teacher informed me that he would not be able to progress to Grade 4 without help. His spelling and comprehension of English were very poor, while his Afrikaans mark was exceptionally low.

Through dedication and consistency Kufanele’s second progress report in July was telling a different story. He passed both his language subjects with good marks and his handwriting improved tremendously. I made it a priority to ensure that he attend classes as much as possible. Edublox has made the difference I was hoping for!

Through the Edublox classes his cognitive skills improved to an adequate level and his reading speed has doubled in just six months. Kufanele has progressed to Grade 4 and I am a proud mom knowing that I made the right decision to help my child. I do not plan to stop the lessons as I can see the improvement!

But it is not just his academic performance that has improved during the last year. Kufanele is now much more confident and he is eager to continue this great improvement. He is even trying to write his own sentences and wants to read more books.

A big thank you to Edublox Witbank for making this impact on my child’s life.
