Edublox Conference 2019 Welcomes Franchisees from Across Southern Africa

More than 40 Edublox franchisees from across Southern Africa travelled to Gauteng earlier this month for the Edublox Conference – a bi-annual event with the goal of inspiring the collective and to equip them with tools they require to achieve business success in a dynamic and challenging business environment.

The conference, which took place from 2-4 July 2019, addressed relevant issues such as public relations and IT Trends of note, best practices for HR and accounting practices, developments in home education legislation, as well as tips on how to communicate meaningfully with potential and existing clients, as presented by top communication coach, Juliet Jenner from Dynamic Voice Company. More than ten expert speakers addressed the delegates over the course of the three days, with strategic partners to the Edublox business like EQ4Kids, and Sonja Shear Consulting also participating in the programme.

The event celebrated top performing franchises for 2018 at a gala event, where the business and life coach, Peter van Maarleveld, addressed the delegates on the topic of ‘Resilience.’ Franchisees with a significant tenure of 7 years and longer were honoured with a ‘Longevity Award’ to celebrate their years of partnership with Edublox.

“The Edublox Conference is an important event because although we interact online as a community fairly often, some of the franchisees have never met face-to-face. It’s wonderful to learn together and to grow together as individuals and as the Edublox community with the ultimate intention of bringing reading and learning help to as many children as possible,” says Henk du Plessis, Managing Director of Edublox. “We would like to thank our franchisees for making the time and we would also like to thank event sponsors like Zero Plus Printers and Flordis for their valuable contributions,” he concludes.
